Message From The Secretariat

Dear Delegate,

It gives us immense pleasure to welcome you to Kanakia Model United Nations 2025 (KMUN). On behalf of the entire Secretariat, thank you for choosing to be a part of this year’s conference. Whether you’re stepping into your very first MUN or returning as a seasoned delegate, we’re truly glad to have you with us.

KMUN is more than just a simulation. It’s a space where young minds come together to question, challenge, collaborate, and grow. You’ll be engaging with pressing global issues, testing your ideas, and learning to navigate the complex world of diplomacy and negotiation — and we hope it’s an experience that leaves you both intellectually fulfilled and personally inspired.

This year’s committees have been thoughtfully curated — from historical crises to futuristic security challenges, from global economic affairs to urgent humanitarian concerns. We encourage you to dive deep into your research, remain open to multiple perspectives, and most importantly, speak with courage and clarity.

Our Executive Board is made up of passionate, experienced individuals who are committed to making your committee sessions meaningful and impactful. If at any point you need support, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here for you.

But more than anything, KMUN is a community — and it becomes what you make of it. Make friends, take risks, mess up, try again, stay curious. You're among people who care, who listen, who will challenge you to be better — not just as a delegate, but as a person.

We can't wait to see what you bring to the table.
Welcome to KMUN 2025.

Warm regards,
Riva Mehta, Secretary General
Siddharth Ghosh, Director General
Rishabh Goyal, Charge d’Affaires
